Boston is the largest city in Massachusetts and also its capital. It is one of the oldest cities in the whole country and there are a number of universities situated there. The city is a leading center of finance and its economy is based on electronics, finance, high technology, research and engineering. Boston is divided into twenty one neighborhoods and its climate is continental, although the maritime influences give it a raised humidity level. Fog and tropical storms are not unknown. Boston is a popular place for both national and international tourists and the local cuisine includes such delights as locally made dairy products and different types of seafood.
You might of already heard of this event and it is true that the Boston Wine Expo is the biggest wine fair in the country; the next one takes place in January 2011. More than four hundred and fifty wineries will have stands there and there are one thousand eight hundred different wines to be tasted. Of course, you do not have to taste them all! If you are a wine fan, you might have thought about building your own wine cellar. These can be tiny and hold two or three bottles of wine, large enough for tens of bottles or medium sized. The main point of a wine cellar is that wine has to be kept at the correct temperature and humidity levels else it can deteriorate. If you are going to invest in some good quality wine, it is worth keeping it in the right conditions because the flavor will improve and you can then drink it or sell it for a profit.
