One of the things I wanted to accomplish when I began my internet business was to give my visitors a better experience than they could find anywhere else.
You see, as the mother of four incredible young boys, who are now young men, food always seems a big part of our lives. Let's face it, guys love to eat (something any mom of teenage boys knows only too well!)
I was diagnosed with MS several years back and my ability to stand is one of the many things that have been compromised. However, the guys still need quality food to eat and the need for good food is a paramount fact of life. This basic fact is what inspired me to work on a collection of top quality food and recipe websites.
What I try to reflect in every website I set out to build is plain, simple quality, from the articles on the home page to the recipes in the different categories inside. This is the same whether it is in one of our main course sites like MexicanFoodRecipes.org or one of our dessert sites like JelloRecipes.net.
Most of my websites are about food and recipes, rather than wine, but good wine is great alongside good food, so I thought why not include a comprehensive website about wine cellars? It might be a specialty topic but if you are here then I hope you find the site informative and interesting.
Maybe you are here out of curiosity and you have never considered wine collecting. If you enjoy wine, it might be a rewarding hobby. There is a wealth of information to learn about wine and you might like to do some wine tours in the future or visit some vineyards. You can combine this with a great vacation and maybe buy some wine while you are there.
If you don't often indulge in wine but the idea of collecting it appeals to you, you might like to invest in the wine and sell it at a profit. If you want to do this you will need two things - a reasonable knowledge about which wines are good to invest in right now and a wine cellar.
My latest venture into the world of food and drink is something many people consider to be only for the wealthy. Once upon a time this was true and a wine cellar had to be an enormous room underneath the house, hence the word "cellar."
Today there are wine cellars for everyone. Maybe you only have the space and budget for a small one but modern technology means you can provide the correct humidity and temperature for a tiny wine cellar or wine cooler and you don't have to have a basement to build a massive wine cellar unless you want to.
Wine cellars come in many shapes and sizes. Even if you don't think you have enough room for one, you might be surprised. Do you have a closet? Then you can put a mini wine cellar in there. Do you have a spare corner in your pantry or bedroom? Then you can put a wine cellar there. Remember, a wine cellar can be small enough to hold four or six bottles of wine, as long as you can control the temperature and humidity levels.
PreferredWineCellars.com is our newest project and we are very proud of it. Since we have cut down the number of sites we have to make each and every one as good as it could be, taking on a new site is a major undertaking. We spent the past year pruning back many of our sites so we could focus on making those we kept into something really special.
We managed to pare our sites down dramatically, taking more than a hundred sites offline as we focused on a core group of food and drink sites that we have set out to make true authorities on each and every category we cover. We decided to make a major investment into new content, a new, upgraded, entirely CSS-based design, and pages loaded with even more content than ever before.
Each wine cellar page is full of totally unique wine cellar information and specialty wine content along with unique articles with the unique food and drink perspective of a very talented group of food and drink writers who have put their all into bringing the best possible culinary content to the web. Hundreds of hours of research and writing, design and coding have gone into every page of this site and others that we run.
We hope you are pleased with the results we have achieved. If you are, then why not pass the site around at your favorite social bookmark site and let others know what you have discovered?
We truly appreciate your votes and it helps us concentrate on what we do best - provide all the best food and drink content for you, on every single website we produce.
Thanks for visiting,
Christine and Everyone here at PreferredWineCellars.com
